Before going to Niagara Falls, I bought a spicy hot sauce from Old Town Niagara, [名前]. I was told by the shopkeeper that it’s really good because it’s homemade and “really spicy.”

Sadly, it was underwhelming. I was telling my friend when I got back from Canada that it was okay. What should have been a slow burn of heat going down my throat and belly was more tabasco-esque – a hint of acidity and a lot watery than most sauces. It’s an even weaker choice to have than Encona in my opinion.
I’ve had it in curries, noodle dishes and pastries and the most you get out of this sauce is a watered down taste of sriracha. It’s enjoyable if you want a little kick to your burger or sandwich but not something I’d recommend you put it in your homecooked dishes.
