Taste of China

Taste of China

Read Time:1 Minute, 12 Second

Chinese takeaways are very common in the UK but having a regular to recommend is harder especially when you’re trying to get the most authentic taste. Taste of China on Mitcham Lane for me has that authenticity.

The portions are pretty good and each container of food is filled to the very top, I’d say it’s likely about 2-3 meals for two people. Taste of China provides a range of dishes that are also spicy and you can ask for more chillies, which they are happy to add in if you call or add in the delivery instructions.

Lamb Szechuan Style, Singapore Fried Rice and Black Bean Delight (From L to R)

What I like about the spice in dishes such as the Black Bean Delight and Lamb Szechuan Style is that the few times I didn’t ask for extra spice, there was enough in already in there which mixed nicely with the sauce.

Along with the above dishes, I’d also recommend for you to try:

  • Siu Mai
  • Har Gau
  • Singapore Ho Fan
  • Mee Goreng
  • Special Fried Noodles
  • Nasi Goreng
  • Magic Chop Kim
  • Penang Prawn Mee
  • Singapore Fried Noodles

For the Malaysian dishes and Singapore Fried Noodles, the spice really gets you and there’s no need to add anything further which is great. Because of that, I always find myself ordering Taste of China quite often. If I could, I’d order it every month and I hope it stays in business forever because of how tasty it is.
