My friend had called me one day in Canada telling me to try Dave’s Hot Chicken, a franchise that’s notorious for its extremely spicy sandwiches which are coated with Dave’s signature sauce which tastes like Nashville Hot sauce.
So I tried the Dave’s #4, which comes with a slider topped with kale slaw, pickles, and Dave’s sauce, plus a side of fries. I made the right decision to get the heat level just before Reaper, Xtra Hot becuse Reaper comes with a warning on it for any meal you try to purchase for.
The Xtra hot was a good balance of spice and not overwhelming. The crispy texture of the chicken combined with the flavourful sauce, made every bite that much more delicious.
It’s definitely a level not to take lightly, not for beginners or casual spicy eaters. but also something that was enjoyable for me and I would definitely come back to try Reaper next.
