Kingston’s Devon House Patty

Kingston’s Devon House Patty

Read Time:48 Second

Devon House in Kingston is notorious for its ice cream. But have you tried their patties?

At the Devon House Bakery, they sell their own premium patties that are shaped triangular like a star and have a range of flavours – calalloo, fish, beef, chicken, goat, shrimp and lobster, the latter two being the most expensive at around $600.

Growing up on beef patties more, I chose that flavour and had no regrets. Although patties are mainly snacks or sides to have, this one was so filling that because it was packed to the brim with beef. There’s a hint of spice that warms the soul once I continued eating and you can tell it’s well-seasoned within the pastry.

And with that added crunch and flakiness from biting the patty, I knew this would be one of the best patties I had. So if you’re ever in Kingston, definitely stop by Devon House Bakery and pick up a patty.
